Filing an I-601 Waiver or I-212 Waiver for submission to the Department of Homeland Security
In certain circumstances, individuals who have been found ineligible for an immigrant visa under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) may file an Application for Waiver of Ground of Inadmissibility (Form I-601).
The waiver application must be filed domestically through the Phoenix Lock Box (effective June 4, 2012). Please follow the instructions at www.uscis.gov/i-601.
