Event: National Crisis Management Exercise to Occur July 7
The Government of Nigeria will hold a National Crisis Management Exercise on the morning of July 7. Heavy police presence and response can be expected in Abuja where the government will be conducting a large scale crisis management exercise. Locations should be announced by the Nigerian Government soon. The exercise may include simulated fires and shots may be heard. Traffic interruptions are expected.
Actions to Take:
- Monitor local media for updates.
- Once announced, avoid the areas of the training exercise.
- Exercise caution if unexpectedly in the vicinity of a large crowd.
- Minimize outdoor activities if possible
