Message for U.S. Citizens: Reopening of Consular Section at U.S. Consulate General Lagos
The consular section of the U.S. Consulate General Lagos will reopen on March 17 for both visas and American Citizen Services (ACS). Please note that consular functions at the U.S. Embassy in Abuja were never affected and will continue as usual.
We regret the inconvenience this unanticipated interruption of service in Lagos caused.
ACS applicants with cancelled appointments should go online to schedule a new appointment.
Visa applicants with cancelled appointments between March 11 and March 16 will be contacted by the Consulate for rescheduling.
Visa and ACS applicants with scheduled appointments for March 17 and after should come to the Consulate as usual.
