Event: Update from NCDC
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reports that as of April 14 the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 has reached 373 (including 99 recoveries and 11 deaths) with a case fatality rate of 2.9%. The majority of confirmed cases are in Lagos (214) and the Federal Capitol Territory (58), but infections have also been confirmed in Osun, Edo, Oyo, Ogun, Bauchi, Kaduna,Akwa Ibom, Katsina, Kwara, Kano, Delta, Ondo, Enugu, Ekiti, Rivers, Benue, Niger, and Anambra States. Please continue to shelter in place and practice social distancing and vigilant hygiene practices.
